The Lakes Hotel & Conference Centre (client interview)

Tanya Savva, the Director at The Lakes Hotel has had the same relationship manager at Grobank (formerly the South African Bank of Athens) for 6 years now. Norman Niewenhuys, Tanya’s relationship manager, is like family to her.

Every time she has a big decision to make, or a crazy idea like turning the lakefront at her hotel into a beach, Norman is the first person she calls.

Tanya has grown what used to be a small hotel into a large conferencing operation. The Lakes can host up to 3000 delegates, and now have 150 rooms. All of this has happened under Norman’s watchful (and helpful!) eye.
